Solas Safe Pass Course Naas

The Solas Safe Pass course is designed to maintain a high standard of on-site health and safety awareness throughout many industries.  It is recognised that workers need to have a basic knowledge of Health & Safety to make them aware of the dangers in the workplace. The Safe Pass is a one day training course which is renewed every 4 years.

SafePass Aims/Objectives

  • To increase awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
  • To ensure all work personnel have a basic understanding of the dangers in the workplace with a view to a positive contribution to prevent workplace accidents
  • To maintain a register with Solas of persons who receive training
  • To provide all candidates with a Solas Safe Pass identity card to indicate the person has completed the course

Who should attend

  • All personnel who work in the construction industry or personnel which perform tasks in an environment which may contain areas of risk.

Course Certification Validation

On successful completion of the Safepass training programme the candidate will be registered with Solas and issued an identity registration card. The condition of the Solas registration card is that it is to be renewed every 4 years.

Requirements on the day of Safe Pass

  • A PPS number for the canidate attending
  • 2 current passport photos
  • Current Safe Pass card if renewing
